Upcoming Classes : Call us at 864-472-0888 to reserve your spot.   Come in ahead of time to choose your fabrics.  Unless otherwise specified, you will need general sewing supplies such as snips, pins (glass head pins are recommended and we have those available), a seam ripper and a sewing machine in good working condition which sews an accurate 1/4" seam.If you need to use one of our Bernina's, let us know in advance.

    Streak of Lightning:  Learn this quick but visually stunning lap quilt using the pattern by Karen West of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.  Jenny Holmes will be teaching this class on Saturdays, April 5th, 12th and 19th from 9 a.m. to noon.  Cost, $25 plus material.

    Bernina Mastery:  For those who have purchased their Bernina from us, this class if free of charge.  For those who purchased elsewhere, the class is $20. Learn to ue your Bernina to its fullest extent and unleash your creativity.  The first Monday evening of each month from 6:30 to 8 p.m.  April 7th will be the next Bernina Mastery Class.

    Block of the Month:  (This class is full.  We're listing it here as a reminder to those who are signed up.).  Tuesday, April 8th from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.. 

    EZ Framez:   Bring four of your favorite photos to be transferred to fabric using Milliken's Printed Treasures to use in this paper pieced fabric frame by Block Party Studios.  Thursday, April 10th from 6 to 8:30 p.m..  Cost, $10 plus materials and the pattern.

    Bernina Embroidery Digitizing:  Join us to learn digitizing using your laptop and your Bernina embroidery machine.  Two times available, Thursday, April 24th from 10 to 11:30 a.m. or 1 to 2:30 p.m. with Cheryl Childers of Hand Made Hugs. 

    Executive Tote:  Sandy West of Draperies by Design will be here to teach this roomy, versatile, multi-pocketed tote that can be used not only for an executive career but as a diaper bag, a student's book tote, or all-purpose carry-all depending on the fabrics chosen. Come in to see the sample--it is divine!  Saturday, April 26th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m..  Cost, $30 including lunch.  Two yards of fabric is needed for this tote.

    Binding 101 Demo:  Learn the proper way to make double fold binding and to finish it off for a  professional finish to your quilts.  Saturday, May 10th from 10 a.m. to noon.  Cost, $15.

    Free Motion Quilting:  One of our most popular classes, come  learn the basics of free motion quilting on your sewing machine and see the Bernina Stitch Regulator in action.  The class includes instruction on meandering and stippling, following a pattern and a chance for you to practice on a prepared quilt 'sandwich' of fabric and batting.  Saturday, May 24th from 10 a.m. to noon.  Cost, $25.
